Is The Read free?
The Down Bad Score is free — upload a chat and you get it instantly, no account. The full Read (the written analysis plus ~16 shareable cards: Ghost Forecast, Red Flags, Texting Personality and more) is a one-time £2.99 / $3.99. No subscription.
What can it actually tell me?
Things a word cloud can't: who's carrying the conversation, whether the energy is matched or one of you is down bad, how the mixed signals decode, the red and beige flags on both sides, and a straight verdict — with real quotes from the chat as receipts.
Is my chat safe?
The conversation is analysed on our servers (that's what lets an AI actually read it) and the raw messages are deleted the moment your analysis completes. Unfinished uploads are purged within 24 hours, there's a delete-everything button, and there's no account — we couldn't build a profile of you if we wanted to.
Does it work with iPhone and Android exports?
Yes — both. In WhatsApp open the chat, tap the name at the top, and choose Export Chat → Without Media. Upload the .txt or .zip it gives you and you'll have your score in about 30 seconds.
Can it analyse a group chat?
It's built for two people — you and them. A group export still works (everyone else is read as 'them'), but the relationship read makes the most sense on a 1:1 chat.
